Solar thermal

Hot water from the sun with a backup that never leaves you cold.

Indirect solar water heaters that harvest the sun for the bulk of your hot water and quietly top up on electricity only when the weather won't cooperate. Because they are indirect systems, the collector fluid and your domestic water never mix so they work with any water quality and hold high pressure.

What it is

The idea, plainly

A solar collector heats a fluid, that fluid transfers its heat to your water through a heat exchanger, and an insulated tank stores it. The water you use and the fluid in the panels stay completely separate — cleaner, more hygienic, and safe on hard or borehole water.

How it works

  1. 01

Collectors on the roof capture solar heat throughout the day.

  2. 02

Heat passes to your domestic water through a sealed heat exchanger — no mixing, no scaling of the panels.

  3. 03

An insulated tank stores hot water for when you need it.

  4. 04

An electric booster tops up automatically on cloudy days, so you never run out.

System types

Two ways to configure it

Thermosiphon

Tank and collector both mounted on the roof. The simplest, most reliable, most cost-effective option — no pump, no moving parts.

  • Both tank and collector sit on the roof — saves ground space
  • Gravity-driven: no pump, nothing to fail
  • Ideal for detached houses and apartments
  • Suitable for apartments up to 3 floors below the rooftop
  • Enamelled tank with magnesium anodes for long life

Split system

Slim collectors on the roof, tank hidden indoors. Maximum flexibility and a cleaner look — ideal for weak or steep roofs.

  • Tank mounted indoors, out of sight — better heat retention
  • Vertical tank gives better hot/cold stratification
  • A circulation pump and differential controller move heat only when it's worth it
  • Best for structurally weak roofs, steep roofs, or a premium finish

The payoff

What you get

For your home

  • Cut your water-heating electricity bill dramatically
  • Continuous hot water, backed up for cloudy days
  • Works on any water quality — borehole, hard or municipal
  • Split option hides the tank indoors for a clean roofline

For business & institutions

  • Slash the largest recurring energy cost in hospitality and residential blocks
  • High-pressure, high-volume delivery for hotels and apartments
  • Indirect design protects the system on poor-quality supply water
  • Sized to real occupancy and demand, not rules of thumb
